Draping Project
For this project in class, I decided to construct a bodice for the dress. I wanted something to emphasize the bust but also create some coverage to the neckline. I mapped where the binding of the bodice will show with bias tape and mapped the bodice pieces from there.

Body Form and Princess Seams
For my draping project, I wanted to do a body form that looked like my model Justin. I first took measurements then continued to fill out the form to create the body. I then bused bias tape to tape out the lines within a garment on the body form as a roadmap for my draping. I then did a prototype bodice with princess seams but decided to create a corset like bodice.

Draping Half Scale
Class Project
For Draping class, we practiced draping different skirts with the half scale body forms to conserve muslin fabric. We also used this time to find an idea of what we wanted to do for our skirts on our draping project
