Draping Project Final
For this project, I decided to push myself a base my design off of a Met Gala dress. This being said, I decided to change the design based on what I wanted to spend time draping and learning from. From this I draped he bodice to fit not only the model's body but also have aspects of corsets added to the bodice.

For this production of Spring Awakening I patterned, cut, and stitched this plaid skirt. The costume designer (Claire Peterson) created the bodice.

In Flat Patterning I chose to explore circle effects in skirts and controlling fullness in my bodice, as well as a bias sash and adding a collar.

For Period Patternmaking I chose to reproduce a 1912 gown. Due to COVID restrictions I chose to be my own model.
